Robbie Soares (alias Mudpuppy) (drums, vocals) grew up in Eureka, California into a musical family. His father played the drums and he grew up listening to his dad play in various bands. There was rock and roll for breakfast and country music to sleep by. He originally came to Alaska in 1979 and returned in 1986 for good. He has played mostly rock and roll, but has also played a little country music along the way. The last band he played in was Warp Drive. They played classic rock and a few current rock tunes as well. He has been influenced by groups such as the Beatles, the Doobie Brothers, Pink Floyd and Seven Mary Three.
