Eric Rodgers (alias BeatBox) (guitar, vocals)
After his first violin lessons at age 7, Eric Rodgers' thirst for music
seemed to be a never ending endeavor. After a few years of classical training,
Eric looked towards alternative styles of violin, which lead him to explore
various instruments as well. Shortly after picking up a guitar and mandolin he
joined the group, The Emeralds, and through them has played with artists such
as: Bearfoot, Alistair Frasier, Darol Anger, Bruce Molsky, and Mark O'Connor.
Eric's current projects include the ZydeCohos, The Hot Club of Nunaka, and his
acoustic band, The Cold Duck Complex. Through his blending of an eclectic range
of musical genres, Eric's heavily melodic style is always
changing, leaving his audiences ever captivated and clamoring for more. |
